Planning Coordinator

The primary purpose of this position is to provide operational, state-level All Hazard planning services to the division before, during, and after emergencies and disasters. This position manages the State Emergency Operations Plan (SEOP) program, which consists of development and maintenance of the SEOP and its components, to include the Base Plan, Emergency Support Function (ESF) and Recovery Support Function (RSF) annexes, incident annexes, the Resource Mobilization Annex, and other necessary annexes. This position also ensures the SEOP program complies with Emergency Management Accreditation Program requirements, to include planning documentation and maintaining a master SEOP revision schedule. This position provides operational and administrative support to the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission (CEPC), maintains the division's library of high hazard dam emergency action plans, and coordinates section training with the SEOC Exercise Officer. During SEOC activations, this position may serve in the SEOC Planning Section and may lead or support planning teams and plan development. This position may also be tasked to lead or support other special planning projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience) Experience Only : Seven (7) years of experience in a position that required leading or participating in planning projects, stakeholder engagement, and technical writing. OR Education and Experience : A Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in a position that required leading or participating in planning projects, stakeholder engagement, and technical writing. OR A Master's degree and two (2) years of experience in a position that required leading or participating in planning projects, stakeholder engagement, and technical writing. Note :
