We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our fast-paced finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

This role also includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, and partnership compliance.

Responsibilities :

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.

Qualifications :

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller with 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Strong understanding of business strategy and ability to align financial management with strategic goals.
• Proven expertise in managing the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
