The Medical Field Sales Director will play a pivotal role in our expansion by developing and expanding relationships with referral sources while managing a team of 10+ reps growing to 20+ by the end of this year.
This position will have access to all relevant technologies, resources, and budgets to achieve their assigned goals. This role features a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, full benefits, mileage reimbursement, and a phone allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of medical field sales representatives to maximize their potential and performance.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and retention.
- Assist with the resolution of priority customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expense reports to optimize resource allocation and maximize profitability.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical sales, with a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and financial management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in competitive markets.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and train staff.
