Swim Instructor part-time (Saturdays)

Our Swim Instructors direct and leads participant(s) through explanation, demonstration, and guided practice.

This position is at our downtown location 211 N.

Stetson Ave.

Responsibilities :

• Take attendance when needed.
• Schedule lessons three-five days in advance.
• Follow Emergency Action Plan when needed.
• Fill out required records and reports on schedule.
• Communicate regularly with participants and their parents.
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the club management.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director.
• Adapt teaching approaches to all ages, skills, and abilities of participants.
• Use skill demonstrations and positive reinforcement while teaching new skills.
• Enforce all aquatics facility policies, rules, and regulations; educate patrons about them.
• Monitor teaching, practice, and equipment areas to ensure the health and safety of participants.

American Red Cross CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer Scheduling Needs :
