Float Medical Assistant
Marathon Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) to support our near-site employer-sponsored health and wellness center in Columbus & Grove City, OH.
You’ll treat individuals and families (ages 2+) in a healthcare setting that values quality of care, longer appointment times, and a more relaxed daily rhythm all so you can build and grow trusted relationships with your patients and help them reach their wellness goals.
Role highlights include :
- 24 hour per week position no weekends required!
- Flexible Availability : Monday - Thursday 7am - 7pm and Friday 7am - 4pm

Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting both the front and back office, including greeting and rooming patients, scheduling, answering phones, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support wherever needed.
Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (in addition to an externship)
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy / venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
- Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with patients and strong computer skills required
