Job description

The Senior Marketing Operations Specialist  is a senior independent contributor on our Lifecycle Marketing Team.

This person must be able to determine how marketing automation can grow a business and creatively reach various audiences through email and SMS marketing.

They should have experience working with and leading email strategy for various types of clients (B2B, SaaS, B2C, e-commerce, etc.), and expertise in leveraging marketing / sales platforms to drive results for clients.

They must have experience working across teams (particularly paid social, paid search, and e-commerce) and focusing on the technical and analytical aspects of marketing campaign execution.

This role involves managing the marketing automation platform, ensuring data accuracy, and leveraging data to drive marketing decisions.

What You'll Do :

  • Executing and managing marketing campaigns across various channels Audit existing client accounts to identify strategic opportunities and areas to improve data quality  Administering marketing automation systems and ensuring database hygiene Defining goals, success metrics, and reporting on marketing program results Implementing MAP & CRM setups from scratch based on client priorities as well as best practices  Strategizing the layout of, setting up and managing marketing automation workflows.
  • Building out lead scoring models and implementing lead routing workflows Creating nurture programs Assisting in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment, and data is flowing properly.  Collecting, organizing, and maintaining marketing data- site, integrated platforms, historical, and third party data.
  • Cleaning up CRMs by developing strategies to deal with data that needs to be archived, enriched or cleaned out the system.  Managing databases and CRM systems.

Ensuring compliance with privacy and communication regulations What You'll Bring :

  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience (agency experience preferred) 3+ of those years in a marketing operations focused role  Expertise in various email marketing service providers and marketing automation technologies like Hubspot, Klaviyo, Pardot etc.
  • Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and achieving high customer satisfaction Experience working with B2B and ecomm clients    Expertise in defining, managing, and optimizing marketing automation workflows Expert knowledge of database management concepts and best practices Demonstrated capabilities when it comes to data compliance management  Expertise with pulling performance and engagement metrics and producing data-driven insights and reports Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Shopify / WooCommerce, HTML, and / or API integrations a plus Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision Outstanding interpersonal skills and superior communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - must be very detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines Benefits and Perks We Provide   Remote Workplace.  You have the option to work at our office in Boston or remotely in the United States.

  • $60,000-$90,000 We determine compensation based on experience, demonstrated skills, and current market conditions at the time of hire to ensure fairness and consistency across roles.
  • Actual compensation will depend on experience and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and impact of the role.
