Data Engineer

This position is located in Escondido CA and is estimated to be 80% in office and 20% remote. Candidates must reside in the Escondido CA area.

Job Summary

Data Engineers at ARS design build and maintain the data assets and pipelines that enable high-quality actionable intelligence across business operations and client engagements. They ensure that information delivery is timely reliable and aligned with the needs of end users adhering to internal quality standards and supporting business-critical reporting and visualization.

Data Engineers are responsible for managing and prioritizing their workload across weekly deliverables and longer-term strategic objectives. They are expected to apply sound judgment and technical discretion in developing solutions resolving data issues and making trade-offs in a resource-constrained environment.

In addition to engineering robust data solutions the role requires active collaboration with partner teams to improve processes enhance automation and influence technology investments that strengthen ARSs data ecosystem. Data Engineers also provide analytical and data-mining expertise to support strategic initiatives and guide the organization in leveraging data as an enterprise asset.

Essential Duties

1. Develop New Data and Reporting Solutions

• Translate business and client requirements into effective data models pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with end users business stakeholders and management to validate requirements and ensure solutions meet functional and strategic needs.
• Apply established solution design principles to ensure scalability sustainability and adherence to architectural standards.

2. Maintain and Enhance Existing Reporting Assets

3. Drive Automation and Improve the Sustainability of the Reporting Suite

4. Support Data Gathering Mining and Analytical Efforts

5. Uphold Data Stewardship and Quality Standards

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works in a climate-controlled setting seated continuously and is sedentary the majority of the workday. This position is in a call center with moderate to high noise levels & frequent foot traffic. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer phones and photocopiers. Work area stations and cubicles are close in proximity to others.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is continuously required to use hands and fingers to handle feel or operate office equipment such as computers phones and photocopiers; and have moderate reach with hands and arms.
