Devops engineer Jobs in Escondido, CA

Growing General Contractor in Escondido, CA, working primarily with the Federal Government on military projects is looking to hire a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with the planning and execution of the construction projects.

What you will do:

-Maintaining aspects of the project schedule.

-Managing the process of submittal approvals.

-Coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and assist in maintaining schedules and budgets.

-Participating in meetings with Architect/Engineer and owner representatives, provide information and assists the Project Manager in the preparation of meeting minutes.

-Distributing proposal change documents to subcontractors/suppliers.

-Assisting in collecting pricing and/or prepare change proposal requests for internal pricing review.

What you will need to succeed:

• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• At least two years of Project Engineering experience, preferably with a government contract general contractor
• Knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling are required
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, excellent written and oral communication skills as well as expertise in the interpretation of Construction Documents
• Experienced in managing multiple priorities
• Must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
• Obtain minimum vehicle insurance or 100/300/100
• Must be able to obtain DBIDS clearance
