We are searching for a talented Interpreter - Sign Language

Hours : Per Diem

Shift : Day shift with evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Location : St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Travel : May require driving on average 3 or more times per week

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, Interpreter Services or designee. Provide coverage on-site / on-call for Interpreter Services as requested. Provide accurate consecutive and / or simultaneous interpretation from spoken English to American Sign Language and vice versa. Develop a rhythm of interpretation to enhance the flow of communication between parties. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of encounters.
