Immediate Client for Caregivers - Aliso Viejo
Job Summary :
Senior Helpers - South OC is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients in Laguna Beach, California.
Ideally available to work from 8 am to 4 pm! We are looking for a caregiver to work with one of our male clients who has dementia and requires personal care assistance (ADLs such as grooming, dressing, personal hygiene such as bathing, incontinence and additional needs).

Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document client's health status and communicate any changes to the appropriate parties.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by the client's medical team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Escort clients to appointments and assist with transportation as needed.
- Attend ongoing training and education sessions to enhance caregiving skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Senior Helpers team.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in caregiving, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
