Position Overview : Soliant is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team.
The SLPA will work within a school setting under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students with communication disorders and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Implement individualized or group therapy sessions using evidence-based strategies and techniques to address speech, language, fluency, voice, and / or swallowing difficulties.
- Support students in developing and improving their communication skills through targeted therapy activities and exercises.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into the students' academic and social environments.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of student progress, therapy plans, and session notes in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and school-based initiatives to enhance clinical skills and contribute to the overall success of the therapy program.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or registration as required for school-based practice.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children with communication disorders preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and parents.
- Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting student learning and development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced school environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and educational software for therapy documentation and communication.
