Salary / Hourly Rate :

$30 / hr - $31 / hr

Position Overview :

Our client is in search of a Staff Accountant who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and analytical. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for full-time in the near future.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

• The Staff Accountant will perform full reconciliation and analysis of vendor account invoices and payments.
• Manage and enter vendor invoices in the system, ensuring approvals are obtained and internal controls are followed to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to the company’s approval matrix.
• Assist in the payment of vendor invoices, monthly office bills, and recurring purchases etc.
• Perform vendor account analysis, including reconciliations and / or month-end / quarterly / annual roll forwards.
• The Staff Accountant will assist in month-end closing activities, including departmental expenses, allocations, accounts payable, and cash accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of the budget and or actual data compilation for monthly reporting.
• Coordinate and maintain monthly recurring and unusual or extraordinary journal entries.
