Med / Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Trenton, NJ 08638 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Acute Care – Medical / Surgical Telemetry Unit

Employment Type : Local, On-Site Registered Nurse position

Contract Duration : 9-week nursing contract

Start Date : November 18, 2025

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,829 - $2,033

Shifts per Week : 3 (12-hour day shifts)

Total Hours per Week : 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey

At least 2 years of recent experience in a Med / Surg Telemetry or acute care nursing role

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients on the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment

Administer medications and perform clinical interventions as ordered by physicians

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans, medical procedures, and post-discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with hospital policies
