The Maintenance Mechanic Technician will ensure the work areas and equipment are in a clean, safe, and efficient operating condition and is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of equipment and systems to ensure maximum production efficiency while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the Company. Additionally, this position requires the individual to understand, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and operational equipment. This position takes direction from the Maintenance Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment both mechanically and electrically.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Makes recommendations for improvement and solving maintenance-related problems.
• Communicate parts inventory tracking based on usage to Management.
• Ability to follow company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety practices
• Monitor machinery to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems promptly, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Responsible for all necessary reporting and required paperwork.
• Facilitate open communication between the maintenance department and other departments to ensure timely handling of all equipment problems and food safety issues.
• Perform other duties as may be required and / or assigned.
• Ordering and installing parts.
