Job descriptionPosition / Specialty : Med Surg Neuro RN Shift : 4x12 or 3x12s Days (1800-0630) Avg. Daily Census : 32 Years of experience REQ : Minimum 1 years' experience required. First-timers accepted : No Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager. Locals accepted : Yes- no radius. Must have active IL license in hand to apply. RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days. Must have active IL license in hand to apply. Minimum 1 years' experience required. Required Work Setting Experience : Med / Surg. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills / Experience : Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management. Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience : Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Required Neurological / Psychiatric Case Skills / Experience : CVA, Pre / Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury. Experience with Surgical drains required. Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, CPAP / BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre / Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac. Continuous Bladder Irrigation experience required. Cerner experience required. Shift : 4x12 or 3x12s Days (1800-0630) Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
