We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Property Accountant for a mult-property role supporting 2 hotels as well as administering payroll for our portfoilio of 10 hotels.

Previous hotel accounting experience is highly preferred but not required. This is not an entry level accounting role however and multi-entity work experience will be very helpful..
Responsibilities :
- Produce timely and Accurate P&Ls
- Accurate Journal Entries, Accruals
- Bank Reconcilliations
- Monitor Accounts Recievable
- Monitor and Audit Daily Income Journals
- Accounts Payable
- Balance Sheet Reconcilliations
- Help with the month, quarter and year-end close activities
- Prepare and Submit bi-monthly payroll
- Prevent inaccuracies in and maintain the reliability of financial documents by setting up internal control systems and embracing proper policies for financial reporting
- Maintain positive relationships by analyzing, researching and responding to property leadership inquiries in a timely, accurate, and polite manner
Requirements :
- 2+ years Accounting / Bookeeping experience
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 / One Drive environment
- Proficient in Sage accounting software (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Versatile and able to learn different accounting platforms easily.
- Uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to problem-solve and address issues in a professional and effective manner.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high paced environment.
- Self-starter who regularly takes initiative and can juggle multiple projects
- Takes pride in meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations on quality of output
- Degree preferred, not required.
