We have an exciting opportunity for a Gateway Mission Design Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .
If selected you will :
- Support state-of-the-art research in cislunar astrodynamics and spacecraft mission design for multi-vehicle architecture
- Generate strategies for operating in cislunar space for a range of vehicle capabilities
- Develop, integrate, and test new algorithms for evaluation of vehicle and mission performance
- Provide software development and scripting in orbit analysis software tools, such as FreeFlyer, Monte, or GMAT
- Develop requirements verification documentation for mission design products
- Provide recommendations for improvements in software / data products
- Perform other duties as required
