The Roads and Highways Practice is seeking an Engineer-in-Training in Tri-Cities, Spokane WA, Coeur d'Alene, Pocatello or Boise, ID.

Key Responsibilities

• Works with project teams on all aspects of projects, including project set-up, drafting, design, quality review and quality assurance, project coordination / organization, etc.
• Prepares and designs improvement plans for a wide range of transportation projects
• Prepares and / or modifies construction documents, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and designs for projects
• Analyzes maps, reports, drawings, as-builts and test results for design projects
• Assists with post design construction support services to respond to contractor RFI's, submittal reviews, as-built preparation, and field observations
• May perform construction inspection on project-specific basis
• Coordinates work with other disciplines and offices on multi-discipline projects
• Assists with utility coordination including conflict analysis and coordination with public and private utility companies
