Qualifications :
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate ratings.
- Minimum of 3 year of experience, out of the last 5 as PIC of a Part 121 or 135 company.
- 3000 hours total time with 500 make and model in the Beechcraft B200
- Proven leadership experience with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety management systems, and industry best practices.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and effectively manage operational challenges.

Position Overview : As the Chief Pilot at East Texas Charter, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of flight operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.
You will lead a team of pilots, ensuring they adhere to company policies, procedures, and all relevant aviation regulations.
Additionally, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Flight Operations Management :
Oversee all flight operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and crew management. Ensure flights are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with other departments to optimize flight scheduling and resource allocation.
Safety and Compliance :
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain the highest safety standards. Monitor and enforce compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations as necessary.
Pilot Leadership and Development :
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of pilots to achieve peak performance and professional growth. Provide guidance and support to pilots on operational matters, flight planning, and decision-making.
Conduct regular training sessions and proficiency checks to ensure pilot competency and currency.
Fleet Management :
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure aircraft are properly maintained and airworthy. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for aircraft acquisition, leasing, and fleet expansion plans.
Monitor aircraft performance, reliability, and efficiency to optimize fleet utilization.
Customer Service and Stakeholder Relations :
Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Serve as a point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities on matters related to flight operations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with aviation partners, vendors, and industry organizations.
