ASSOCIATE PROJECT COORDINATOR, US

The US-based Associate Project Coordinator will support the BNRG Dirigo Team in Maine in all development activities (land, permitting, interconnection) of ground mounted solar PV projects in the portfolio.

This is an entry level position that requires the ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced work environment.

At times some office management support may be required - keeping the office running smoothly and overseeing administrative support. Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to :

  • Work under direction of the Programme Manager and the Senior Project Manager
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Construction Manager
  • Assist with special projects and reports as required
  • Maintain online platform to facilitate and oversee project development closely monitoring each project to ensure they remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to overall corporate plan
  • Manage landowner relationships in terms of regular updates on project progress, etc.
  • Office management related responsibilities administrative / reception function; co-ordination of IT solutions; arranging equipment purchase and office supplies;

setting up meetings and calls; organising social events

  • Meeting support setting up; taking minutes and tracking tasks
  • Maintaining office budget tracking invoices and working with Accounts Payable team to ensure all payments are captured and paid in timely manner.

Skills Required / Qualifications :

The candidate will be based in Portland, Maine with remote work possible. The candidate should display strong communication, coordination, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Whereas no previous experience in the Renewable Energy sector is necessary, the following are the basic qualifications and skills the company requires :

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing projects on time and in budget is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Experience and expertise with MS Office is essential, Monday.com experience useful
