Job Overview
This role reports to the Global Head of Investment Solutions and is responsible for the global sales strategy for the Alternative Investments business including private equity, real estate, and hedge fund solutions. The current Alternatives business includes approximately $28B in AUM. The Global Head of Alternative Investments Sales manages a team of ~20 global investment professionals responsible for distribution coordination with Bankers and Investment Counselors across Citi Wealth's client segments (Citigold / Citigold Private Client, Wealth at Work, and Private Bank), product education, and implementation ideas. This role requires an experienced investment professional with Alternative Investments knowledge, exceptional relationship management, communication, and influencing skills, and strong sales experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and drive sales strategy for Alternatives globally
- Partner closely with the Global Head of Alternative Investments (product) and Segment Sales Leadership to incorporate Alternatives into client conversations and portfolios, leading to sales growth
- Hire, retain, and attract top talent to the team to help grow the business
- Prioritize key initiatives by region and segment to ensure appropriate solution focus
- Provide a feedback loop for Alternatives Product and Research teams to ensure thoughtful, thematic focus and product offerings meet client needs and ensure that platform experience is continuously improved including product and platform innovation.
- Partner with 3rd party investment managers to deliver training and sales support with clients and Advisors / Bankers
- Sales Material work with Alternatives Research and Product teams to develop and enhance internal and external presentations & marketing materials for offerings; ensure regional needs are met with global consistency and sharing of best practices
- Education & Training intimately understand the current Alternatives offerings; partner with Alternatives Research and Product teams to schedule and lead internal training sessions (regional and global)
- Roadshow Management work with Bankers and Investment Counselors to schedule and effect in person and / or digital meetings; ensure effective use of time, conveyance of messaging, and aggregation of feedback
Qualifications :
