PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER :

Oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and develop a large multi disciplinary estimate

Determine labor and equipment costs

Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing

Understand project logistics and project schedule

Understand all bid documents and assess project risks

Review quotes and estimates with the project team

Prepare estimates and different levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.)

Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers

Serve as company interface between owner & architect

Responsible for developing leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subs and project team

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER :

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field, prefer 7+yrs exp. as an Estimator or in Preconstruction

Experience working on large multi-million dollar projects exceeding $25Million dollars

Advanced computer skills with estimating software

Effective presentation skills

Advanced Computer skills with MS Office

Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles

Understand all aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects
