Purpose of Position :
An Order Entry Clerk is to inspect incoming customer equipment upon arrival. Equipment and accompanying documentation are processed as instructed by the company and customer requirements.
This position must ensure all product received are handled in compliance with ESD, safety and customer contractual obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Verifies incoming equipment is correctly stated on the PO and paperwork accompanying product from the customer.
- Communicates discrepant material to the Shipping & Receiving Manager.
- Performs visual inspection of incoming product for damage.
- Creates internal work orders within company electronic system using information from product and documentation provided by the customer.
- Ensures that repair orders are routed to the proper area.
- Ensure ESD sensitive equipment is in a protective packaging.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Can read, write and speak English fluently;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Moderate physical activity;
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
