Engineer

In-Office Position

General Summary : The Associate Engineer will assist project teams to create high-quality designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments on a variety of projects including electrical distribution, transmission, and substation design. The Associate Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors, and client needs.

Essential Functions :

• Use CAD Related Software for Client requirements.
• Apply basic knowledge of commonly used utility design practices, codes, and procedures for Client projects.
• Work with designers on interpreting client requirements.
• Assists in the electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
• Assist with research and complies project related data as required by the project coordinators.
• Assist with correcting and updating drawings provided by a senior engineer to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD Related Software.
• Work with leaders and team members to facilitate / support internal change efforts to increase organizational effectiveness.
