Job Summary :  We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer / Architect with expertise in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Network Detection and Response (NDR) systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security principles, experience designing and implementing WAF and NDR solutions, and the ability to lead security initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain secure infrastructure and applications, helping to safeguard our data and systems from evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities :

• WAF & NDR Expertise :  Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Network Detection and Response (NDR) solutions to protect web applications, APIs, and network infrastructure from threats.
• Security Architecture :  Design and architect secure systems and infrastructure with an emphasis on defense-in-depth principles. Ensure security is integrated throughout the lifecycle of applications and network services.
• Threat Intelligence :  Continuously monitor and analyze network and web application traffic to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities, utilizing WAF / NDR  and other security platforms to detect and mitigate attacks.
• Incident Response :  Respond to and investigate security incidents involving web applications and network infrastructure. Provide detailed analysis and reports on findings, and work with the security team to remediate any identified issues.
• Collaboration :  Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to integrate security controls into all areas of infrastructure and application development.
• Automation & Optimization :  Automate security operations, including the tuning and optimization of WAF and NDR platforms, to improve detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and enhance overall security posture.
• Risk Management :  Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, providing mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Security Standards & Best Practices :  Ensure adherence to CIS  security standards and NIST frameworks.

Mentorship & Leadership :  Mentor junior security engineers and provide guidance on best practices related to WAF / NDR, security architecture, and incident response
