Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors, patients, and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will create a welcoming atmosphere. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity and a people-first mindset to support the needs of this important location.

Pay Rate : $16.53 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or situations that may require further attention.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
