PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics : Adult inpatient population
  • Admissions : Yes
  • Case Mix : General hospitalist cases requiring procedures

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental
  • Trauma Level : Traverse City level II, Ostego IV,
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Specialty Back up : General surgery, orthopedic surgery, nephrology

    • PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 90 days

    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Rate : TBD
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance

    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES (Except Traverse city)

  • Intubation (Night shift)
  • Ventilation management (Night shift)
  • Arterial& Central line placement (Night shift)

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Michigan license required
  • Certifications : ACNP required for Nurse Practitioners
  • Experience : Prior inpatient or hospitalist experience with procedural competency
  • Other Qualifications : Must be available for night shifts and able to travel between credentialed facilities

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inpatient hospitalist care during night shifts
  • Perform critical care procedures including intubations and line placements
  • Support cross-coverage across four Michigan hospitals
  • Deliver independent and team-based care in an acute inpatient setting
