Senior Vice President, Client Manager, Ocean Industries North America
The Client Manager has the primary responsibility for the customer relationship. This encompasses leading and motivating customer teams to create an optimal customer experience whilst fulfilling demanding business goals.
Responsibilities include :
- For all customers : Responsibility for customer relationships including :
- Follow up of the customer relationship including day to day contact and internal coordination;
- Account planning and goalsetting per customer in accordance with sales and profitability targets for the section, optimizing customer wallet;
- Align goals for relevant customers in their portfolio with Client Advisor;
- Identify ancillary business in everyday customer dialogue;
- Credit case preparation in cooperation with CAS, including preparing term sheets and loan agreements;
- Understand and communicate relevant risk (credit, AML, compliance, operational, environmental, social and governance);
- Responsible for KYC, AML, WHT, CSR and other regulatory requirements in lending assessments and other documentation;
- Manage exit customers.
- For customers that have no Client Advisor assigned, the Client Manager will also be responsible for :
- Drive profitable growth through :
- Identify and create ancillary business (cross-sales);
- Handling event-driven deals (financing space);
- Structure deals to ensure effective capital use;
- Take a strategic view on the customer's capital structure and the financial products used based on the customer's business objectives, market conditions and the behavior of the customer's key competitors / industry peers.
- Manage and develop excellent customer teams (including CAS, CMO, Markets and other product experts) to fully address customer needs and to realize the full cross-sales potential;
- Live by and promote DNB's purpose and values, and safeguard and develop DNB's reputation;
- Participate in relevant projects and other tasks allocated by management;
- Ensuring all credit requests are in line with prevailing policies and any limit changes are fully reflected in the request;
- Securing compliance with all internal and external policies, rules and regulations;
- Appropriate accounting of expenses and client income;
- Actively contributing to Ocean Industries North America department initiatives and development.
Requirements include a Bachelor's or a foreign equivalent in a quantitative field and 5 years of experience in the job or related. Experience to include :
Global seafood space, both within aquaculture and wild fisheries;Networking with key decision makers within the North American seafood industry;Working in product areas utilized by large corporates like capital markets, capital-efficient solutions and transaction banking;Working in credit and risk;Leading cross-border M&A transactions including legal and tax frameworks;Heading customer teams.Salary : $300,000-$400,000 per year
Hours : 40 hours per week, from 9 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm
