Salary : $50,000 - $55,000

Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. This hands-on role involves both manual processing and transactional accounting , making it ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist Role :

Process full-cycle Accounts Payable : enter invoices, match purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate vendor payments.

Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable : issue invoices, post customer payments, and assist with collections as needed.

Support month-end close activities , including reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.

Handle manual accounting processes , including physical documentation, batch entry, and non-automated workflows.

Maintain accurate records, assist with audits, and provide timely support to internal teams and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist Role :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Experience in full-cycle AP and AR roles.

Familiarity with manual data entry and traditional accounting processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.

Experience with general ledger support and month-end close tasks.

Proficiency with accounting software; ERP experience is a plus.
