A client of Insight Global is looking for a Secret M&P Engineer to help with the supporting of day-to-day production operations for composite manufacturing. This role is focused on hands-on problem-solving, process improvement, and technical support in a fast-paced environment. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the qualification of equipment and processes, ensuring high standards for quality and compliance.
This role will be fully onsite in Mesa, AZ. The contract is slated to last 12 months, with the likelihood of extension / conversion. If you are passionate about composites, polymer chemistry, failure analysis, or production problem-solving, this is the role for you!

Pay Rate Range : $40-$45 (Level 1 - increasing from there)
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. 1+ years working with composites, elastomers, and associated processing techniques
Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry analytical techniques
Familiarity with materials such as epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, and adhesives
Experience with composite failure modes and failure analysis
Experience in technical specifications, reports, and test plans
Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using Microsoft Office
Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations and briefings
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years experience (Level 2) or 5+ years experience (Level 3) in a relevant field, or equivalent advanced degree
Willingness to work 2nd shift
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training
