Fitness Instructor/ Coach

As a children's fitness teacher for My Gym, you will be working with children ages 6 months through 10 years. Our class programs incorporate beginning gymnastics skills, sports, games, movement, songs, and a variety of other unique and exciting activities in a positive, noncompetitive, fun environment. We look for enthusiastic, outgoing and dedicated individuals with good communication skills and a genuine love of children.

Requirements:

A background working with youngsters and/or experience in dance, drama, movement, sports, music, child psychology, kinesiology, or early childhood development!

Position Requirements:

Ability to work up to 20 hours per week, including weekends
Highly energetic
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Experience working with children
Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or related field)
Effective time management, leadership and motivational, skills
Proficient in administrative work
Clean background check
Ability to lift 50 lbs

*Must be available for our mandatory staff meetings Fridays 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Compensation:

Starts at $17.00 per hour

Average trained staff member earns $17-$19 per hour.
