Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Lead Billing Specialist to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY :
Lead billing specialist is responsible for maintaining and overseeing client revenue cycle completion each month. The lead specialist works directly with physician management managers, leads and staff to accurately maintain all information relating to any billing services provided.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Billing Lead Specialist will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to :Oversees and supervises all aspects of the billing revenue cycle.
Identify, create or assign missing client procedures with aspect to the billing revenue cycle.Maintain weekly meeting with additional leads and management to review week and upcoming week questions, needs or concerns.Assist with pulling account receivable reports monthly and know how to read and interpret such reports in order to assign employee assignments of rework.Update management on any concerns or issues with clients or employeesOversee employee time management and tasks. Able to interpret when changes need to made to those tasks in order to accomplish tasks for the month.Work closely with the physician management client managers and billing staff to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues.Maintain annually accurate provider and software policies and processesExecute confidentiality in all matters related to clients, client patients and department staff.Other duties as assignedAssist with other department functions, including Quality Assurance, Employee Health, Risk Management and Education.Must be responsible, self-motivated and support a team atmosphere within the Physician Management Services.Must work well under pressure; meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff and client's including client's staff and patients.Able to communicate verbally and answer phones in a professional demeanor at all times.Must have the ability to effectively read and decipher handwritten documentation.Demonstrate a clear understanding of the highly confidential nature of all client and patient information. Demonstrates personal integrity in holding this information in the strictest confidence.Demonstrates the ability to evaluate suggestions and criticisms objectively and wherever necessary direct the change behavior to billing staff or seek further guidance from managers.Demonstrates self-motivation and personal responsibility for fulfilling tasks and assignments.Maintains a responsible attitude toward appropriate and efficient management of the department's philosophy, policies and practices.ABOUT MOUNTAIN VIEW :

Qualifications
Education / Certification : High School Diploma
Experience : Medical Clerical experience preferred. Two years credentialing experience preferred.
Equipment / Technology : Excellent work processing skills, including Excel or other spread sheet experience.
Language / Communication : Requires language skills adequate for written and interpersonal communication in English. Must have a strong medical vocabulary.
Mental Capabilities : Work well under pressure
Performance : Be able to work well under pressure. Must be able to multi-task.
