Field Service Engineer (CNC Repair)

Field Service Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels by performing preventive maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical maintenance experience who wants to work around CNC machines. Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in the St. Louis, MO area include :

• Conducting high quality, efficient and timely repair and installation of CNC machines
• Recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes
• Training and instructing customers on service, repair and proper installation
• Using software and electrical tools to find damaged work parts and identifying permanent solutions to repair computer-controlled machines and accessories
• Ability to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system daily
• Traveling to customer sites, sometime within a 3-hour radius from home, with occasional overnight travel
