Pay Information

$320 to $325 per hour

About The Position

Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist for a locum-tenens assignment. The ideal candidate will be able to provide full ophthalmic care, including intravitreal injections for retinal conditions, cataract surgery, and trauma management. This position includes both clinic hours and 24-hour call coverage.

Location : Grand Forks, ND

Assignment Dates :

Sept 7, 2025 – Sept 13, 2025 (8 AM – 8 AM)

Nov 30, 2025 – Dec 7, 2025 (8 AM – 8 AM)

Facility Details :

Setting : Hospital-based Ophthalmology practice

Trauma Level : II

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide intravitreal injections for retinal conditions such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Perform cataract surgery and manage trauma cases.
  • Maintain clinic hours Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
  • Work within a hospital setting – Trauma Level II.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
  • Must be able to take call and perform required procedures.
  • Recent experience : Must provide case logs showing 60 cases in the past year.
  • Licensure : ND License / DEA or IMLC with LOQ in hand.
  • Epic EMR experience preferred.
