New Tech Global is seeking a Sr. Account Manager on a direct hire basis for a manufacturing company. This position is based in San Francisco and pays a base salary of $200k plus bonus.
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Account Manager to lead and grow our strategic partnership with Apple and develop new business with high-value accounts such as Google, GoPro, and other West Coast-based consumer electronics innovators. The ideal candidate should have deep sales and relationship experience in the consumer electronics ecosystem, particularly with Apple, and a proven track record managing complex OEM accounts involving technical products and global execution.
Main Responsibilities
Account Management - Apple
- Serve as the regional interface with Apple, managing relationships across engineering, supply chain, procurement, and executive levels. Lead all commercial, technical, and program development activities.
Strategic Business Development
Expand company's engagement with Apple into new product categories and technology areas by proactively identifying cross-functional opportunities and leveraging existing relationships across different business units. Identify and pursue new growth opportunities with Google, GoPro, and other Silicon Valley-based OEMs. Build stakeholder maps, uncover unmet needs, and align company solutions with customer product roadmaps.Customer Engagement & Program Execution
Coordinate closely with global engineering, operations, and program teams to ensure successful project development, from concept to mass production. Commercial OwnershipLead pricing negotiations, contract reviews, long-term agreements, and annual budget planning. Drive revenue growth while ensuring profitability and long-term customer alignment.Technology & Market Insight
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive movements to inform account strategies and product positioning.Customer Advocacy & Internal Alignment
Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring internal teams are aligned with customer requirements in quality, performance, cost, and delivery.Reporting & Forecasting
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and account documentation through CRM and internal tools.Required skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.Minimum 7 years of B2B sales or account management experience in the consumer electronics or electronic component manufacturing industry.Direct experience managing Apple or comparable large tech OEMs is required. - Demonstrated success in managing global customers, executing cross-border programs, and driving new business development.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder customer accounts within the consumer electronics industry.Strong, established professional relationships at all levels within Apple, including engineering, operations, procurement, and executive teams.Strategic mindset with the ability to drive long-term customer engagement while delivering short-term results.Strong technical aptitude; capable of understanding and discussing interconnect and mechanical solutions at a technical level.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional teams and international sites.Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 25-35%).
