Job descriptionEducation & Experience : A 2-year degree (4 years preferred) in a related field and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment. Skills : Strong communication, time management, and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to work independently. Travel Ready : Willingness to travel extensively across North America and worldwide as needed. Problem-Solving : Independent thinker who can analyze, prioritize, and adapt to diverse situations with forward-thinking solutions. Certificates : Valid driver’s license and passport. Work Environment : Ability to work safely on construction and industrial sites, with familiarity with OSHA protocols.
CES / AWS IS LOOKING FOR A FIELD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Location : Victor, NY
Pay : $65k-$80k / y + commission (Depending on Experience)
Direct Hire position
Water treatment or water waste experience is a plus
Must have a valid passport as this is a travel position, traveling weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Client Communication : Develop project schedules, answer technical questions, and support clients during equipment installation.
- Equipment Installation : Conduct field inspections and tests to ensure installations meet P&ID, electrical, and mechanical specifications.
- Product Commissioning : Commission and service air pollution control products, providing hands-on operator training.
- Site Management : Supervise subcontractors as needed and troubleshoot critical equipment to improve performance.
- Technical Support : Offer expert assistance via onsite service calls or phone support.
