Remote Payroll And Benefits Coordinator

Insight Global is looking for a remote Payroll and Benefits Coordinator. The client hiring this Payroll and Benefits Coordinator is a boutique managed services provider that helps international businesses launch operations in the United States. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with diverse payroll platforms ranging from complex PEO solutions like Prism to user-friendly platforms like Gusto, combined with deep knowledge of US compliance requirements and benefits administration.

Responsibilities :

  • Payroll Management
  • Process multi-state payroll for venture-backed technology companies across various platforms including Prism / PEO, Gusto, ADP, Paychex, and other enterprise-level systems
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for clients with complex equity compensation structures, including stock options, RSUs, and ESPP plans
  • Manage payroll for remote and distributed teams across multiple states with varying tax requirements
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports and analytics for client leadership teams
  • Benefits Administration
  • Administer comprehensive benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes and employee benefit communications
  • Manage 401(k) plan administration, including enrollment, and vendor relationships
  • Support implementation of flexible benefits packages tailored to startup and scale-up environments
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management
  • Manage compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Manage tax filings, wage garnishments, and unemployment claims with the vendor
  • Client Support and Relationship Management
  • Serve as primary point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries from client HR teams
  • Conduct training sessions for client teams on payroll and benefits processes
  • Support client onboarding and system implementations
