Home Consultant
Overview
The main job purpose as a Retail Home Consultant with Clayton Homes will be to create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Present potential buyers with display homes, demonstrate features and benefits to create added value
- Set home center visits using the prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments
- Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company-sponsored functions
- Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company's CRM system
- Assist manager with inventory selection, model decoration, and maintaining the appearance of the homes
- Develop, refine, and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic
- Work in a team-oriented environment and assist with miscellaneous duties as required
Qualifications
At least 6 months of relationship-driven business-to-consumer sales (preferred)Prior leadership or management experience (preferred)General understanding of the retail environmentAbility to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensingLearn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homesStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to excel and contribute to a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work the required schedule, including SaturdaysProfessional demeanor and appearanceAbility to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasonsCompensation
