Description : POSITION SUMMARY :
RN / LPN is responsible for providing care to clients to include but not limited to, administering medication, taking vitals, assessing medical needs.
Essential Duties :
- Assisting with the taking and recording of daily client vital signs and assessments
- Administering medications and treatments as per provider protocol
- Assisting with client admissions and discharges
- Recording client observations and reporting to the medical team as needed
- Compassionately interacting with the client population to encourage engagement in treatment
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Attending staff trainings and meetings as required by the employer
- Communicating with the pharmacy as needed
- Completing client nursing admissions not limited to : intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, GeneSight swabbing
- Follows all policies and procedures with regard to client information protection, including alcohol-drug client confidentiality and HIPAA
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications :
Current unrestricted licensure in GA (as required by facility) as an RN / LPNAble to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and writtenAbility to work with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashionDemonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sourcesAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Experience working with people in recovery and / or in mental health treatment a plusBenefits Include :
