Summary :

A leading national retailer seeks an Industrial Engineering Manger to join their team in the Greater Wilmington area to lead a team of Industrial Engineers to optimize processes and lead capital projects within a warehouse setting.

The Industrial Engineering Manager will have the following responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a team of Industrial Engineers, providing project leadership and prioritization to ensure timely, budget-compliant execution.
• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards through detailed time and motion studies, and establish best practices across job functions.
• Drive process improvements in distribution centers by testing and implementing new concepts, with a focus on ergonomic design and efficient material handling.
• Support capital projects through data-driven cost rationalization, work sampling, and cost / benefit analyses, presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Utilize project management tools to plan, coordinate, and deliver measurable results aligned with business goals.
• Advance business objectives by identifying opportunities for expense reduction and throughput improvement through workflow analysis and project implementation.
