Job descriptionQualifications : Education : AAS / BS in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) Licensure : Current New York State RN license BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse certifications Experience : Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (1+ year in Ambulatory / Med-Surg / ER preferred) Demonstrated telephone triage and diagnostic skills Technical Skills : Proficient in computer applications and electronic medical records Strong clinical assessment and medication knowledge Soft Skills : Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Ability to make critical decisions and prioritize effectively Empathetic and professional telephone communication Competitive Compensation : Earn a salary of $83,850 – $88,850 per year with growth opportunities. Position Overview :
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides and coordinates care for patients, families, and significant others in an ambulatory care setting. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, and intervening in actual or potential health problems, as well as evaluating patient responses to care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide and coordinate patient care in an ambulatory setting
- Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop care plans
- Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care as needed
- Perform telephone triage and provide patient education
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols
