Equipment Mechanic

Overview

Equipment Mechanic role at Chesapeake Automotive Equipment. We are seeking an Equipment Field Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair automotive equipment. This role involves working directly with clients to ensure their shops are equipped with safe, fully operational machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Install automotive equipment such as lifts, compressors, and repair tools
• Perform maintenance and service tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Conduct on-site assessments for installation and repair needs
• Work independently on service calls and installations while maintaining professional communication with customers
• Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance recommendations
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
• Manage tools, equipment, and inventory for daily service operations

Compensation & Benefits

Pay : $25.00 to $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
