Description
Summary :
The Trader buys and sells assigned securities to meet the needs of the bank's corporate, institutional and individual customers, and to generate trading profits for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Analyzes security offerings for trading history, type and volume of offering to detect changes and allow for timely planning and action.
- Reviews, approves and records trades according to securities laws and regulations.
- Maintains communication and relationships with dealers in order to keep informed of market conditions and ensures timely execution of trades.
- Provides information to sales officers regarding product offerings, market conditions, and trading strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years related experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- Strong industry knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills
