The City of Scottsdale is looking for a dedicated Water Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of our essential water systems. This position plans, organizes and directly supervises employees performing operation, maintenance, and repair of the City's water facilities, Distribution or Collection systems and the electronic / electrical / technology systems.

Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $103,708.80 / annually.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience :

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
• Must have at least one year of Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Five years of experience in an operation and maintenance of advanced and complex water production, treatment or distribution systems.
• Any equivalent combination of education and / or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
• Preferred : Two years of college coursework in engineering, chemistry, water or wastewater technology or a related field.

Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements :

Other pertinent licenses and / or certifications may be required of some positions depending on department / section assignment.
