Information Systems Security Officer

A company is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to safeguard NOAA's information systems and data

Support annual training for personnel accessing sensitive information to ensure compliance with security protocols

Implement and manage security technologies to protect NOAA's IT resources

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in an IT Security Specialist role

Proven experience in IT security roles, preferably in a federal or governmental environment

Experience with Cloud Responsibility Model and compliance standards via NIST

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background check
