About The Position

Must-Have : Experience in pediatric and adult emergency care preferred

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse to work in the emergency room.

Candidates must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult populations.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 4.

Weekends will be required every third weekend.

The nurse will not need to be on-call.

Float requirements do not apply.

Nurses will work in an acute care hospital setting with a total of 233 staffed beds.

Daily census is expected to range from 120-160 patients.

The unit handles a variety of chief complaints including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Experience with specific emergency procedures and equipment is preferred.

Candidates will be required to complete necessary compliance and credentialing processes prior to starting.

References will be required as part of the application process.

All applicants must be able to provide valid certifications upon hire.

This role may require floating within the service line.
