Responsibilities
Maximize hospital financial performance, analyzing profitability of operations, product lines and contracts, and recommending improvements. Act as a change agent to reduce expenses and process variation.Participate in the financial reporting process; supervise preparation of reports outlining the hospital’s financial position and operating profit and loss statement.Prepare and file federal, state, hospital‑association, third‑party and other required financial reports on time.Develop employees through management practices that create a high‑performance climate; coach, give feedback and build commitment.Benefits

Working knowledge of GAAP, Medicare, Medicaid and federal / local tax regulations.Experience with business operations from registration through discharge and billing.Proficiency in managed‑care payer processes and agreements.Solid accounting background : accounts payable, payroll, general accounting and preparation of financial statements and operating reports.Advanced skills in Excel, database manipulation (e.g., Access, Eclipse) and data presentation.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
