- bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent years of work experience in a related field. ideally 7-10 years of experience as Storage E ngineer focused on a large z / OS SMS environment
- strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
- fluent in English
- Hardware - Dell EClient PMAX8000, Hitachi VSP, IBM Tape (Virtualization, Libraries and Media), Replication Switches (Brocade 6510’s & 7840’s)
- Software - Dell EClient’s SDSF & GDDR, Hitachi BCM Manager
- Strong working Knowledge IBM System Managed Storage (SMS) concepts
- DFSMShsm, DFSMSdss, DFSMSdfp Utilities (IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, etc.), ICKDSF, Access method services (AMS), Object Access Method (OAM), ICF (Integrated Catalog Facility), ISMF, MVS JCL, TSO / ISPF,
