Customer Support Specialist

Steadily is an insurance technology company that specializes in rental property insurance for landlords. We're Series B, just over 130 people, manage $20B in risk, and are intent on becoming the world's best and largest insurer of rental properties.

We exist to deliver fast, affordable insurance and to pay claims quickly and fairly. To do that, we hire the best engineers, actuaries, sales, and service people in the country to build the experience that we'd want if we were the client.

Our Client Experience team's core mandate is to deliver world-class, end-to-end experiences for our customers that drive brand loyalty and retention. You'll be a part of delivering on that mandate.

As a Customer Support Specialist on the CX team, you will :

  • Respond to high volume of inbound calls and email requests from insureds, lenders, and carriers to address servicing requests for active policies.
  • Handle any servicing requests that do not require a license to handle; e.g. billing inquiries, requests for policy documents, and non-premium bearing endorsements (policy changes).
  • Process requests across the 15+ insurance carrier systems we work with and maintain updated records in our agency management system (Salesforce).
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks related to policy servicing, as needed.

Your Background

  • Self-Driven : You thrive under pressure and can manage a large workload with minimal oversight. There is no task too small or beneath you; "that's not my job" is never your mantra.
  • Licensing

  • A Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is not required to apply, but will be required within 60 days of your start date.
  • We will guide you in preparation for the P&C exam in your resident state (Kansas or Missouri) in order to obtain your resident license. You will follow a self-paced online course and must pass the exam within 2 months of hire to grow within the organization.

  • Salary : $65,000 per year ($31.25 / hour)

  • We are in office, located in Overland Park / Leawood
  • Our Customer Support team is available Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm CT; your schedule will fall between those hours (e.g. 7am - 4pm or 10am - 7pm).
