About The Position

Experience : Minimum 1 year required

License : New Hampshire Med Tech License REQUIRED

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• Minimum 1 year experience
• Required skills in inpatient, community hospital, sterilization, decontamination, assembly / wrap, case cart, circulate, scope / probe reprocessing, equipment documentation, high-level disinfection, and aseptic technique
• Proficient in handling colonoscopes, EGD scopes, endoscopic ultrasound scopes, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, and fiber optics

Description :

The position is for a GI / Endo Tech in a hospital-based endoscopy department.

You will be responsible for performing EGD, colonoscopy, EGD BRAVO, EUS, and ERCP procedures.

You will process scopes on the unit.

Daily average surgical case volume is approximately 25.

There are 3 operating rooms available for procedures.

The schedule consists of a 5x8 workweek with varied start times.

Call requirement includes one weekday and every 4th weekend.

No floating is required.

Preferred skills include experience with crash carts, bariatrics, and EPIC.

Successful candidates must adhere to infection control protocols and universal precautions.

You will assist with biopsies and various endoscopic procedures.

The role involves instrument processing, cleaning, labeling of specimens, and maintaining aseptic technique throughout procedures.

Candidates must be capable of working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

All applicants must possess a valid New Hampshire state license.
